Residential study in a Karma Yoga program offers the chance to live in an ashram, serve, learn, and grow spiritually in a community dedicated to good deeds.
Karma Yoga, often described as selfless helping, is one of the paths of yoga recommended in the Bhagavad Gita. Through the act of helping, participants experience a sense of freedom that supports deeper spiritual development.
The program includes a stay at the European House of Yoga Light ashram and direct contact with mentors — experienced yoga devotees who guide daily learning and practice. The ashram is led by devoted yogis from various yoga traditions, including Raja yoga, Karma yoga, Hatha yoga, Kundalini yoga, Siddhi&Siddha yoga, and Hormonal Balance Yoga, ensuring that personal development is present in every activity.
Karma Yoga studies encourage a new way of living, rooted in a healthy lifestyle, openness to life, and a strong sense of unity. By the end of the study period, participants gain valuable self-knowledge and a deeper understanding of unity in all things and coexistence with all beings.

Participants become part of a community of like-minded people guided by experienced yoga masters. In the process, they may release deep energetic, emotional, and mental blockages, learn new skills, and enjoy the beauty of authentic nature.
Selfless helping supports the dissolution of limiting energies such as egocentrism, jealousy, envy, and difficulties in developmental communication. It also nurtures acceptance, unconditional self-love, compassion, tolerance, and mercy.
Karma yogis can enjoy healthy vegetarian food prepared without chemicals, yoga classes, time in the national park, and activities for the common good. The program also supports the organization of yoga retreats, regenerative and transformative yoga intensives, and other content at the European House of Yoga Light.
Each participant receives a daily sadhana program from a mentor, including a Work Engagement Plan – Karma Yoga Plan and a personal development plan with a meditative program and Karma Yoga lessons. Every karma yogi is supported by a developmental mentor who provides guidance in daily spiritual, meditative, and work sadhana.
Alongside regular development activities, a special spiritual education program is offered throughout the stay.
The Karma Yoga program is offered in two modalities.
This is a one-month introductory program with a stay at the European House of Yoga Light. Accommodation and daily meals are provided for a fee.
30 days Karma Yoga studies
Daily activities include morning and evening satsangs with meditations, kirtan singing, lectures, and workshops, as well as five hours of karma service each day, daily meetings of karma yogis, yoga classes, and advisory meetings with a mentor. The price is EUR 900 for 30 days. Each additional day costs EUR 30. The price includes accommodation, meals, yoga classes, and participation in some yoga retreat programs according to the schedule and type of work assistance.
This two-month program is designed for yoga enthusiasts, instructors, and teachers seeking ongoing development under the guidance of a Master. A minimum stay of 60 days is required, and admission includes an interview with the Karma Yoga program coordinator.
Participants receive free accommodation, free vegetarian meals, and free mentorship, including spiritual and work guidance. The daily schedule includes yoga classes, morning and evening satsangs, meetings of the work team, advisory meetings with a mentor, and six to seven hours of help with ashram activities as needed. The program is free of charge for participants staying at the European House of Yoga Light.
At the end of the program, participants receive a certificate of successful completion.
The Karma Yoga program is available from May to September.
Applications must be submitted in advance and are accepted until all places are filled. If vacancies are available, the coordinator will contact applicants within a week and guide them through the next steps.
