Step into the Colombian jungle for a deeply immersive Ayahuasca retreat designed to bring you closer to the sacred vine and the living traditions that surround it.
Over the course of 7 days, you will journey into the untouched landscapes of Mocoa, Putumayo, where you will take part in three Ayahuasca ceremonies and observe the preparation and cooking process of this ancient shamanic healing plant firsthand.
This retreat is held three times a year. The next date is from February 2nd to 8th, 2027.
More than a chance to experience Colombia’s remarkable natural beauty, this journey offers a meaningful introduction to the customs of the Kamëntsá-Biyá tradition from high Putumayo, where Ayahuasca has been prepared and used in ceremony for generations. Our intention is to share that tradition with authenticity and deep respect.
During your stay, you will be in Mocoa, in the direct territory of the Taitas, whose lives remain closely connected to the surrounding nature. In this setting, Ayahuasca is experienced in a powerful and energetic environment, offering you a unique opportunity to learn about the origins of this sacred plant medicine and the wisdom carried by the tradition that continues to gain recognition in the Western world.

What do you need to bring with you?
The Ayahuasca Retreat – A Journey Back to Yourself
This is not a luxury hotel stay. Instead, you will be welcomed into the heart of the Colombian jungle, where accommodation is simple: shared four-person rooms with communal bathrooms and showers. The Taitas’ home received electricity only about ten years ago, and there is still no internet.
This lack of modern distractions is part of the experience. It creates space to turn inward, step away from constant stimulation, and meet yourself more directly. Here, you are invited to release what you carry, face your emotions, and open to a deeper spiritual transformation.
If needed, cell phone and internet access are available within a 15-minute walk, though we encourage you to fully embrace the disconnection and the healing potential of this jungle journey.
Three individual experiences on your Ayahuasca retreat in the jungle
During the retreat, you will participate in three distinct Ayahuasca ceremonies, including the opportunity to join a ceremony with Mama Concha, one of the most respected figures in Colombia, as well as her husband, Taita Guillermo, and their son, Taita Miguel.
In just one week, you will move through a profound cleansing process, with each ceremony offering its own unique depth and medicine.
