Today, it also reflects the latest research to offer a supportive and effective approach to detoxification and renewal.
First launched in 1992, the retreat was among the earliest comprehensive body, mind, and spirit programmes of its kind. Over the years, it has grown through valuable experience and knowledge gained from welcoming guests from around the world.
Each part of the programme is designed to support physical, mental, and emotional purification, making it suitable for a wide range of wellbeing goals. It is also ideal for anyone wishing to deepen their understanding of natural health practices and return to daily life with greater awareness and positivity.
Group life is an important part of the experience, with four daily gatherings for juices and broth, as well as shared classes and workshops.

Detoxing And Yoga
Yoga classes are open to everyone, whether you are new to the practice or already experienced. The teachers offer a gentle, enriching, and relaxing session that supports your detox journey.
Yoga plays a central role in the programme because the combination of movement, stretching, twisting, and deep breathing helps stimulate the detox process across body, mind, and spirit. As the lymph and blood circulate more efficiently, released toxins are carried through the body at a faster rate, supporting elimination.
Yoga also encourages relaxation, activating the restorative parasympathetic nervous system and giving the body space to clean and heal itself. The deeper the detox, the more profound the benefits of the yoga practice.
Exercise, Meditation and Relaxation
Evening workshops may include movement sessions, a fire ceremony inspired by the Sivananda tradition, and more traditional meditation practices.
These sessions further support detoxification by helping release blockages and tension held on physical, mental, and emotional levels. They encourage deeper relaxation and a greater sense of letting go.
During the day, there is time to rest, swim, enjoy a therapy session, explore the surroundings, walk in the area, or help in the organic gardens. Once a week, guests also visit one of the beautiful local beaches.
A selection of videos, DVDs, and related films is available to watch. The sauna is open in the early evening, and the hot tub is available throughout the day.
