




The original idea behind our juice detox fasts was shaped by the pioneering work of Bernard Jensen, Swami Sivananda, and Dr. Gerson in cleansing and detoxification, and later enriched by the healing power of yoga, meditation, fasting, and alternative therapies. Today, we also incorporate the latest research to offer you the best possible experience.
Since launching in 1992, our holistic programme for body, mind, and spirit has stood among the first of its kind. Over the years, we have built invaluable knowledge and experience while supporting guests from all over the world.
Each part of the programme is designed to support physical, mental, and emotional detoxification and purification, making it effective no matter where you are on your wellness journey.
It also appeals to those who want to deepen their understanding of natural health practices and explore a more abundant, positive way of living — taking that awareness back into everyday life.
Group life is an important part of the experience, with four daily gatherings for juices and broth, as well as group classes and workshops.

Detoxing and Yoga
Our yoga classes are open to everyone, whether you are new to the practice or an experienced yogi. Our skilled teachers will guide you through a restorative and enriching session that complements your detox.
Yoga is central to the programme because gentle movement, stretching, twisting, and deep breathing all support the detox process for body, mind, and spirit. As the lymph and blood circulate more efficiently, released toxins are carried through the body at a faster pace, helping the elimination process.
In addition, the deep relaxation created through yoga activates the restorative parasympathetic nervous system, giving the body space to cleanse and heal itself.
And the more you detox, the greater the benefits of the yoga practice.
Movement, Meditation and Relaxation
Evening workshops may include movement sessions, a fire ceremony inspired by the Sivananda tradition, and more traditional meditation practices.
These sessions further support detoxification by releasing blockages and tension held on physical, mental, and emotional levels. They help you let go more easily and relax more deeply.
During the day, you are free to rest, swim, enjoy a therapy session, explore the surroundings, walk in the area, or even help in the organic gardens. Once a week, we also visit one of the beautiful local beaches.
There is also a selection of videos, DVDs, and related films to enjoy. The sauna is available in the early evening, and the hot tub can be used throughout the day.
