The foundations of our juice detox fasts were shaped by the early work of Bernard Jensen, Swami Sivananda, and Dr. Gerson in cleansing and detoxification, and later enriched by the restorative influence of yoga, meditation, fasting, and alternative therapies. Today, we also integrate the latest research to offer the best possible experience.
Since launching in 1992, our body, mind, and spirit programme has been among the first of its kind, and over the years it has grown through invaluable experience and knowledge gained from supporting guests from around the world.
Each part of the programme is designed to support physical, mental, and emotional detoxification and purification, making it effective whatever level of wellness you are focused on. It is also ideal for anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of natural health practices and positive, abundant living, then bring that awareness back into everyday life.
Shared group experience is central to the retreat, with four daily gatherings for juices and broth, plus group classes and workshops.
Reasons For Participating
Benefits of Juice Fasting
To stay connected with the natural rhythm of the season, the juices are prepared according to what is available at that time of year. Throughout the retreat, you can expect variety, along with a broad range of vitamins and minerals designed to replenish the body and help cleanse the nervous system. Additional supplements are also provided to support the cleansing process.

What's Included
Detoxing And Yoga
Our yoga classes are open to everyone. Whether you are new to yoga or already experienced, our skilled teachers will guide you through a supportive and relaxing practice that complements your detox.
Yoga is a key part of the programme because gentle movement, stretching, twisting, and deep breathing can all support the detox process for body, mind, and spirit. As the lymph and blood circulate more efficiently, toxins released by the body are moved through more quickly, helping the elimination process.
In addition, the deep relaxation created by yoga activates the restorative parasympathetic nervous system, giving the body space to cleanse and heal itself. The more you detox, the more you may feel the effects of the practice.
Exercise, Meditation and Relaxation
Evening workshops may include movement sessions and a fire ceremony inspired by the Sivananda tradition, alongside more traditional meditation practices.
These sessions further support detoxification by helping to release blockages and tension stored on physical, mental, and emotional levels. They encourage deeper relaxation and a greater sense of ease.
During the day, you can unwind, swim, enjoy a therapy session, explore the surroundings, walk in the area, or even help in the organic gardens. Once a week, there is also a trip to one of the beautiful local beaches.
A selection of related videos, DVDs, and films is available, while the sauna runs in the early evening and the hot tub can be used throughout the day.
Therapies
We also offer a range of therapies designed to support toxin elimination and bring balance to the whole system. The sauna further assists cleansing through the skin. Available treatments include:
