




The original concept behind our juice detox fasts was shaped by the pioneering work of Bernard Jensen, Swami Sivananda, and Dr. Gerson in cleansing and detoxification, and later enriched by the healing benefits of yoga, meditation, fasting, and alternative therapies. Today, we also integrate the latest research to provide the best possible experience.
When the programme first began in 1992, it was among the first comprehensive body, mind, and spirit offerings of its kind. Since then, we have continued to build on that foundation with invaluable experience and knowledge, supporting guests from around the world.
Each part of the retreat is designed to support physical, mental, and emotional detoxification and purification, making it effective at whatever stage of wellbeing you are focusing on. It also appeals to those who want to deepen their understanding of natural health practices and explore a more abundant, positive way of living, then bring that awareness into everyday life.
This is a shared group experience, with four daily gatherings for juices and broth, along with group classes and workshops.

Detoxing And Yoga
Our yoga classes are open to everyone, whether you are just beginning or already have years of practice. Our experienced teachers will guide you through a supportive, restorative practice that complements your detox.
Yoga is central to the programme because gentle movement, stretching, twisting, and deep breathing all help support the detox process for body, mind, and spirit. As the lymph and blood move toxins through the body more efficiently, elimination is encouraged.
Yoga relaxation also activates the restorative parasympathetic nervous system, giving the body space to cleanse and heal itself. The deeper the detox, the stronger the benefits of the yoga practice.
Exercise, Meditation and Relaxation
Evening workshops may include movement sessions and a fire ceremony inspired by the Sivananda tradition, alongside more traditional meditation practices.
These sessions further support detoxification by releasing blockages and tension held on physical, mental, and emotional levels. They help you let go and settle into deeper relaxation.
During the day, you can rest, swim, enjoy a therapy session, explore the surroundings, walk in the area, or even help in the organic gardens. Once a week, we also visit one of the beautiful local beaches.
There is also a collection of videos and DVDs to watch, while the sauna runs in the early evening and the hot tub is available throughout the day.
