The retreat is held 45 minutes north of Amsterdam in an authentic 19th-century Dutch abbey. Each participant has a private room, and the spacious common areas provide room to rest, journal, and settle in. The peaceful setting offers excellent opportunities for reflection and nature walks, and the chapel is available for private meditation and contemplation.
Each programme is tailored to the group and to individual needs, with no expectation to attend every activity. There is also ample time for reflection and nature.

InwardBound’s interdisciplinary team of psychotherapists, PhD scientists, and holistic therapists brings together science and spirituality within a safe and supportive container. Working in the broad tradition of Dr. Stan Grof, the team aims to help participants access the wisdom of their own inner healer.
The organisation also draws on a long tradition of psilocybin use in Ireland, continuing a land-based ancestral approach that connects healing, nature, and spiritual growth in a contemporary ceremonial setting.
Financial assistance is available to help make this form of healing more accessible across socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds. If you feel you may be a candidate, you can submit a 500-word application.
