With nearly 1,300 retreat participants since 2018, Inwardbound has become one of the world’s leading providers of psilocybin retreats.
This 5-day gathering is intentionally intimate and group-focused, creating a supportive container for the healing process. Across the retreat, you will take part in 2 psilocybin sessions alongside a carefully designed programme to deepen the experience and support meaningful positive change in your life.
Here is an overview of what to expect:

Day 2 & Day 3: Start with morning yoga, meditation, and breathwork, then breakfast. There is an optional nature walk, followed by an opening circle and preparation. The retreat takes place at a beautiful venue 45 minutes north of Amsterdam. Housed in an authentic 19th-century Dutch abbey, the accommodation offers a peaceful and restorative setting for your 5-day stay. Each participant has a private room, and the spacious communal areas provide room to rest, journal, and settle into the experience. The retreat center’s quiet location allows for reflection and nature walks, and the chapel is available for private meditation and contemplation.

Why InwardBound?
InwardBound’s interdisciplinary team of psychotherapists, PhD scientists, and holistic therapists brings together science and spirituality, with a shared belief that these paths are one. Working within the broad tradition of Dr Stan Grof, the team creates a safe container for people to access the wisdom of their own inner healer.
The retreat also draws on a long Irish tradition of psilocybin use. Inspired by Celtic ancestors who worked with wild mushrooms of Northern Europe for healing and spiritual growth, InwardBound continues this land-based tradition in a modern setting that supports psilocybin ceremony and reconnection with nature.
To help make this form of healing accessible across socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds, financial assistance is available. If you feel you may be a candidate, you can submit a 500-word application.

My path has been one of healing, and psilocybin has been a vital part of that journey since my first psychedelic experience in the foothills of the Dublin...
