This distinctive workshop brings together intuitive archery and mindfulness in one immersive experience.
Using a bow and arrow can become a moving meditation, bridging inner awareness with the world around you, while mindfulness practice supports a calm acceptance of life as it is.
Set against the stunning landscape of southern Pelion, Kornelius Hentschel and Peter Riedl are hosting the workshop “Mindfulness and Intuitive Archery.”
Surrounded by sun, the sea, the wind in the olive trees, and the song of cicadas, the atmosphere invites deep presence.
Here, warmth wraps around you, and attention naturally shifts to sound, sensation, and mindful perception from the center.
From this state of awareness, the movement of archery unfolds as a form of standing meditation.
You find your place, feel rooted, and are able to open and release through personal responsibility and self-efficacy. The shot then carries this outward, slipping away from you like snow sliding from a cedar branch.
Tension and relaxation, self-acceptance in your current state, and joy in the heart all become part of the experience.
It is an invitation to perceive the world and yourself as you are, without judgment and in the silence of thought.
Archery also opens a door to the archetypal world of images, bringing you face to face with inner visions and strengths.
With courage and responsibility, you are invited to entrust yourself to Artemis, goddess of the hunt, the forest, and birth.
Again and again, you return to the meditation place to deepen mindfulness through practice.
The seminar is led by Kornelius Hentschel, a therapeutic archery trainer, and Peter Riedl, a mindfulness teacher.
Over the course of one week, the focus remains on mindfulness training and intuitive archery.
Peter Riedl will guide the daily mindfulness practice throughout the seminar.
This experience is designed for beginners, while experienced archers are also welcome.
The first days are dedicated to learning archery before gradually moving into fully intuitive movement.
In the second half of the week, participants will create their own personal arrow and, in a ritual and special shot, send it into the sea together with their wishes.

Therapeutic archery trainer, Kornelius Hentschel offers a focused and mindful approach to working with the bow and arrow. His sessions are designed to support concentration, body awareness, and calm presence, creating a grounded experience that goes beyond technique alone. With an emphasis on precision and inner balance, participants are guided through a practice that encourages steady breathing, clear attention, and a...
