SUNDAY EVENING CEREMONY
Rooted in shamanic tradition, this work is based on the understanding that living in harmony with nature can be medicine, and that people may access inner wisdom, healing, and knowledge through a relationship with the earth, plants, and the elements. In the Amazon, Curanderos have long used Ayahuasca in ceremonial settings; in the Andes, priests work with San Pedro; and in Mexico and the Southwestern United States, ceremonial practice often includes peyote and psilocybin mushrooms.
In Hawai'i, the experience is framed as a way to connect with the ancient psychoactive plant teachers of the islands in their original setting, surrounded by the Pacific Ocean — the ocean named after peace.
Although these plants belong to the same family as South American Ayahuasca, the ceremonies here are not intended to imitate those of Peru. The Hawaika brew is presented as a safer, more blissful, and less anxiety-producing ceremonial opportunity to encounter the master plant teachers of Hawai'i and this region. Reflecting the Aloha Spirit, “Ha” (breath of life), “Wai” (mana/life force), and “Aka” (shadow) describe an experience that unfolds within you and stays with you as you return to daily life.
CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTION THRESHOLDS:
Ceremonies are offered in private, semi-private, and small-group formats on New Year’s Eve and every Sunday evening throughout the year, from dusk until approximately midnight. Each ceremony is limited to 8 guests, with an average group size of 3 or 4 plus the shaman.
Safe, gentle, and powerful, this offering uses Hawaiian and Pacific Island psychoactive, psychotropic, and entheogenic plant teachers to support insight, heart-opening, and a deeper sense of connection with one’s divine nature. Rather than a quick fix, the ceremony creates an altered state of consciousness that may help participants view personal challenges from a new perspective.
We offer sacred, indigenous, organically grown Hawaika in a small, intimate Sunday evening setting designed to support healing, personal growth, and meaningful plant interaction in a nurturing, well-kept upcountry Hawaiian environment.
2-DAY PROGRAM: ceremony + deep dive
The plants are not presented as a cure-all or a shortcut to transformation. Instead, they open a space for expanded awareness, where visions, inner knowing, and wisdom may arise. Participants often describe a greater ability to “know oneself” through this super-conscious state.
The 2-day option combines Sunday ceremony with a 2.5-hour private, individually delivered, one-on-one deep dive with Chief Golden Feather, available on weekdays from Monday through Thursday, either before or after the ceremony. This substance-free session is intended to support deeper exploration of the 3-D illusion, personal imagery, and the patterns that may keep a person asleep in seriousness, blind spots, and self-defeating symbolism.
Guests are required to submit an application form, signed waiver form, a copy of a photo ID, and a current colored head-and-shoulders selfie in advance. For those who wish to go further and gain tools for sustained change and transformation, a 2-day program and a 3-day program are available. The 3-day option includes ceremony, a private 2.5-hour shamanic deep dive, and an all-day eco-adventure / mystic tour.
All events and services are offered solely for their intangible spiritual benefit. In exchange for meeting the charitable contribution thresholds, donors are granted participation in the programs and ceremonies, and no offerings are sold through commercial transactions outside the donative context. Advance planning is required, as spaces tend to fill quickly and no last-minute additions can be made.
Sacred plant teachers are not suitable for everyone, as they may be contraindicated with certain medications and health conditions. To ensure that all participants are informed and prepared, an application and waiver form must be completed by all new guests, as well as by anyone who has not sat with the group in a year or longer.
