Gardening Day
Description
Every Wednesday, guests are invited to take part in an engaging gardening experience at Hale Akua. This hands-on day offers the chance to work alongside the farm team and enjoy a meaningful connection with the land through a variety of activities. Depending on the needs of the garden, you may help with watering, harvesting, planting, digging, weeding, mulching, composting, replanting, and re-potting, along with other supportive farm tasks.
It is a wonderful opportunity to step outdoors, contribute to the growth of the garden, and experience the rhythm of farm life in a collaborative setting. Whether you are looking to learn more about gardening or simply enjoy an active day in nature, this weekly experience offers a practical and rewarding way to get involved.
Accommodation Options
Shared Rooms – Queens | Twins
A great balance of community and comfort. Queen options include the Plumeria Room , Garden Room , and Lotus Room . For twin-style stays, choose spaces like the Villa Loft , Pali Uli Loft , or Sunrise Room . One person per bed, with roommates thoughtfully matched by Pride Adventures.
Private Rooms: Standard or EcoFarm
Our Private Rooms feature a king or queen bed with extra space and en-suite comforts, like the Gardenia Room or Gazebo Room . For a cozier experience, the EcoFarm Private Rooms offer full or queen beds in uniquely themed spaces that support Hale Akua's organic farm. Most rooms include AC.
Master Suite
Our most premium accommodations at Hale Akua. Choose from three stunning master suites: The Jasmine Suite (private kitchen, lanai, and hot tub), The Villa Master Suite (inside a 2,278 sq. ft. villa with its own pool and hot tub), or the Pali Uli Waterfall House Master Suite (a cliffside retreat with dramatic views). Each suite features a king or round bed and extra space to relax in comfort and privacy.
