FSC Forest Management Expert Course – 9 November, 10:00 – 13:00 EST

Step into the FSC audit process with greater confidence and practical insight, or take the first steps toward becoming an auditor yourself.

This intensive FSC Expert training is designed to build the mindset and knowledge of an FSC auditor while supporting participants who need to meet formal FSC Forest Management auditor training requirements. It also offers valuable understanding of the FSC FM system.

The FSC Expert Course is made up of two separate tracks: one for Forest Management (FM) certification and one for Chain of Custody (CoC) certification. This registration applies to the FSC FM course.

The FSC FM course includes an online module followed by three days of intensive classroom training focused on FSC standards and systems for Forest Management certification.

The course is delivered in English. Please make sure your language skills are sufficient for active participation in presentations, group exercises, discussions, and examinations. The standard classroom agenda is available, and the online module agenda can also be reviewed. Access to the online module is provided only to paid participants and takes approximately three days to complete.

Note: The exam will be held online and supervised after the training.

Conditions for successful completion

• For participants who are not aiming to obtain auditor qualification, the exam and completion of the online modules are optional. Even so, completing the online part in advance is strongly recommended, as it supports a deeper understanding of the material and a better overall learning experience in the classroom.
• To successfully complete the course, participants must pass the final exam. In line with FSC Requirements for Auditor Training Programmes, they must also attend the full duration of both the scheduled class time and the online module, and actively take part in group work and discussions throughout the training.

Course fee and discount options

The fee for this three-day classroom FSC FM training course is 3,300 USD, excluding accommodation and VAT. The course fee includes tuition, training materials, coffee breaks, and lunches during the course.

Cancellation

Cancellations are free of charge up to two weeks before the course begins. After that, a cancellation fee of 25% of the standard course fee will apply, unless otherwise specified.
