Over this weekend, we will trace the presence of women, goddesses, and yoginis within the historically male-dominated landscape of yoga. Together, we will explore the different phases of Indian history in general, and the ancient, multi-layered history of yoga in particular.
This immersive workshop offers a deeper understanding of how worldview, religion, and society have shaped each era, and how these influences are reflected in the development of yoga over thousands of years. Participants can expect a thoughtful, engaging journey that opens new perspectives on tradition, lineage, and the often-overlooked feminine dimensions of yoga history.
