A 300-hour yoga teacher training in France, this advanced program is designed for practitioners who have already completed a 200-hour training and want to explore yoga in greater depth. Certified by Yoga Alliance, USA, the course is rooted in Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga, following the curriculum of Rishikesh Yog Peeth, a Yoga Alliance-registered school based in Rishikesh, India, widely regarded as the birthplace of yoga.
This training offers a profound continuation of the path opened during the 200-hour program. It invites participants to move beyond the basics and into the deeper dimensions of yoga, where philosophy, asana practice, and self-inquiry become part of daily life. The aim is not only to refine technique, but also to develop greater awareness, sensitivity, and the ability to share personal experience as a teacher in a meaningful way.
Dates: March 3 to 31, in Rishikesh, India
2950 euros, with Yoga Alliance-recognized certification (RYT 300) :: Open
DAILY TRAINING SCHEDULE
The program follows an intensive timetable, in line with Yoga Alliance USA recommendations, and explores yoga throughout the day. Depending on the season, practice may begin as early as 6:00 a.m. with shatkarma purification techniques. The day continues with asana classes, pranayama, sacred text study, philosophy, and anatomy linked to the benefits of yoga practice.
Students also dedicate time to reading, study, and daily writing to document their experience of the 12 foundational asanas. Shared meals create space for friendship and exchange, with three meals prepared together each day. Mantra chanting and meditation close a typical training day, and early sleep is encouraged as part of yogic discipline.
THE 8 LIMBS OF YOGA
The training also connects Patanjali’s philosophy with the five principles of yoga according to Swami Vishnudevananda: proper posture, conscious breathing, advanced relaxation, living vegetarian food, and alertness without tension through Vedanta and meditation.
SYLLABUS
Asanas
Philosophy – Patanjali’s yoga philosophy, the eight stages of yoga, the origins of yoga and the Vedas, Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, and Jnana Yoga, the five layers of consciousness, and the evolution of the elements according to Sankhya Darshan
