Description

Have you ever wondered what DMT is?

In technical terms, dimethyltryptamine, commonly known as DMT, is regarded as one of the most intense and transformative psychoactive substances in existence. This alkaloid belongs to the tryptamine family and occurs naturally in both mammals and a variety of plant species. While several plants contain it, the most common source for extraction is Mimosa tenuiflora, also known as Jurema, a sacred tree native to the Amazon. For safe and effective oral use, it is essential that this tree works in synergy with other tryptamine-rich plants, such as Mimosa hostilis or Psychotria viridis, together with the presence of an MAOI in the body.

Here (Watch video) you can see, firsthand, how our shaman harvests Jurema deep in the forest. It is a moment of deep respect: you will witness how this sacred plant responds to human contact, moving to protect itself and revealing its vitality and awareness.

What effects does this medicine have?

Subjective effects:

  • Profound visual hallucinations, often with intricate geometric or fractal patterns.
  • Transcendent experiences of a religious or spiritual nature.
  • Heightened sensitivity to sound and visual stimuli.
  • Distortions in the perception of time and space.

Physiological effects:

  • Light nausea.
  • Rapid heartbeat.
  • Temporary reduction in intraocular pressure.
  • Mydriasis, or pupil dilation.

How do our ceremonies unfold?

  • The day before, your guide will welcome you to the house to prepare the energetic space.
  • The teacher will take time to speak with you, connecting with your personal situation in order to guide and set the intention for the ceremony according to your healing needs.
  • Every step of the process will be explained in detail, including possible symptoms, so you can feel completely safe.
  • The ceremony begins after the necessary conversation between shaman and participant.
  • Everything starts with a deep cleansing using floral waters and aromatic lotions to purify body and mind.
  • This is followed by a tobacco blow to protect the spiritual environment and support connection with the energetic body.
  • The shaman prays to the medicine, asking for respect and opening the path to healing intentions.
  • The medicine is then consecrated through pipe smoke, either indoors, in the garden, or by the river.
  • Because the effect is short and direct, the teacher will remain by your side at all times to accompany you, care for you, and support whatever you need.
  • The session ends when you feel fully recovered and at peace.
  • You will be able to share your experience with the shaman while enjoying fresh seasonal fruit.
  • Finally, there is a farewell moment filled with gratitude.

This is how guests describe it:

"The DMT showed me a new world" - Peter. Source: Wall of Gratitude.

"When I left, I felt I had found a part of myself I lost as a child. An incredible experience. Alberto deserves all my gratitude for sharing his space and allowing my healing." - Brandor. Source: Wall of Gratitude.

"Time is relative; I traveled through dimensions, worlds, universes, and millions of years." - Perla. Source: Wall of Gratitude.
