In just two hours, you can be there, and within four hours you can check in, gear up, and step straight from the beach at El Presidente Intercontinental into the clear blue water. If you prefer heading out by boat, our friends at Scuba Du can take you to dive sites farther offshore along the reefs.

Diving here is a true pleasure, with options suited to every level of experience. The reefs are rich in marine life and striking formations, from the vertical walls at Palancar to the coral bommies in just six meters of water near Columbia. You will also find gently sloping walls at Chankanab and the dynamic current diving of Paso Cedral. Snorkelers are well rewarded too, with colorful fish and healthy coral just below the surface along the coast. For dedicated divers, the program can include up to four dives per day plus one night dive, from the beach or by boat with your own guide.
