Anna Elise has spent the past decade guiding students through their yoga journey with a focus on movement, mindfulness, and the mind-body connection. Her workshops bring together yoga and mental health, holistic healing, and strategies that help people move beyond mental blocks and step into a stronger, more confident version of themselves.
With training in neuroscience, including her Fundamentals of Neuroscience qualification from Harvard Ex, she weaves the science of the nervous system into her teaching. Her TEDx talk on using the mind to calm and regulate the nervous system reflects her commitment to connecting science with holistic well-being.

6-Day Yoga Retreat: Cortisol Detox & Emotional Renewal
This 6-day yoga retreat is designed to release stress, detox cortisol, and restore emotional and physical well-being through yoga, meditation, journaling, and therapeutic practices. The carefully designed schedule supports nervous system regulation, deep relaxation, and emotional healing.
Daily Structure & Key Activities:
Mornings:
Start each day with a Morning Yoga Flow to gently awaken the body, support circulation, and assist with cortisol regulation. This is followed by journaling sessions focused on emotional detox and self-reflection, with themes including intentions, emotional awareness, self-love, clarity, and forward planning.
Afternoons:
Afternoons include Ayurvedic Herb & Household Remedies workshops, Emotional Expression through Art & Music, and free time for rest, nature walks, or quiet reflection. On Friday, a special Thermal Bath Excursion & Restorative Soak adds another layer of relaxation and support for cortisol release.
Evenings:
End the day with Emotional Release Stretching to help release tension stored in the muscles and nervous system. A nutrient-rich dinner supports hormone balance, followed by evening meditation practices such as breathwork, visualization, body scanning, and gratitude rituals to activate the parasympathetic nervous system and encourage restorative sleep.
