Join us for a short-term immersion in community living.
Curious about communal life? This is your chance to experience it firsthand.
Spend 5 to 11 days connecting with inspiring people, nurturing creativity, co-creating, and spending time in beautiful nature. In response to growing interest, we are opening our doors and hearts so you can get a real taste of SerVivo’s community life and share in our daily rhythm.
Whether you have visited before, are simply curious, or are seeking a deeper connection with the community, we are delighted to welcome you.
At SerVivo Community Experience, co-creation means bringing your unique energy, creativity, and gifts to help nurture togetherness and build community. Freedom and responsibility go hand in hand here: we care for shared spaces, support one another, and contribute to the ecosystem we are growing together.
Think of it like a garden. SerVivo provides the fertile ground, guidance, and care shaped by experience, while your seeds — your ideas, talents, and initiative — help the whole space flourish. Together, we create something vibrant and beautiful that could never grow alone.
In practice, co-creation means living, playing, and working together in a caring environment. Everyone is expected to contribute to practical community life, from tidying common areas and washing dishes to cooking.
We also invite you to share your creative gifts. Lead a workshop, offer a practice, or try something you have always wanted to facilitate — all on a gift basis, without fees. Every contribution enriches the community and deepens connection.

Detailed directions on how to get to SerVivo are available on our website.
Once you register, you will receive a link to a WhatsApp group where you can connect with other participants and arrange ride-shares. We can also offer a pickup service from Palmela, with prior booking, for a small fee of 5€.
Our vegetarian communal kitchen is an important part of the experience. It is a well-equipped space where all the nourishing magic happens. We organise communal, contribution-based food shopping covering the basics such as fruit, vegetables, grains, and legumes. We mostly eat organic, vegan, and gluten-free food to accommodate as many people as possible, while also accepting other dietary preferences. Please discuss this with the team before your arrival.
As a community, we usually cook and share at least one meal a day together. In the mornings and evenings, we cook individually, though we often end up eating at the same time.
Private food can be bought in local shops in Palmela, about 20 minutes by bicycle, and stored in an indicated private box.
We offer visitors and event participants a bunk-bed dorm. It consists of two connected rooms, simply yet warmly decorated, with 7 and 8 beds in each.
There is limited private accommodation available, including our ‘sunset’ room at the back of the main house. The room is named for its beautiful view of the evening sunset during the warmer months.
We can also offer private vans and caravans near the main house, and there is often space for personal tents around our land.
For all availability and contribution enquiries, please contact us via email.
Next to the main entrance, you will find a cosy quiet room, ideal for rituals, reading, or a midday nap. On the other side of the wall is a spacious living room, offering even more room for relaxation, reading, meeting others, or, in winter, simply watching the fire in the wood stove.
We have two large bookshelves with a wide range of materials in different languages and on many topics for your enjoyment and learning. There is also a small free shop where you can leave old clothes to find a new life with another owner, or take home something left behind by someone else. Craft materials are also available around the place if you feel inspired to create.
Through large sliding doors, you will find our beautiful studio. Weekly classes take place here, and outside class hours it is open for free use. You can borrow yoga mats for stretching and exercise, or connect to the speakers and dance. Our healing room is also available, and treatments can be arranged directly with the therapists and practitioners.
