Join Alex Mytton, 42 Acres, and their brilliant teams for a one-of-a-kind Summer Solstice retreat and celebration in an extraordinary natural setting.
Following a sell-out first year in 2026, this retreat is now set to become an annual tradition. Held on a regenerative estate and nature reserve at one of the UK’s most-loved retreat centres, it offers a meaningful pause at the height of the season.
Created to restore connection with the natural world, with one another, and with the playful, celebratory parts of ourselves that modern life so often leaves behind, this weekend also marks a heartfelt tribute to three years of AM Retreats.
The experience has been thoughtfully shaped around three core themes:
Guests will spend 3 nights in quietly luxurious accommodation surrounded by nature, alongside approximately 50 other participants in the biodiverse, rewilded landscapes of 42 Acres.
Accommodation options include the 15th century Hermitage, elegant single rooms, beautifully placed bell tents, a unique lakeside Tiny Boat, or the option to bring your own tent.
Across the retreat, you’ll practice, explore, eat, and play together. All meals and snacks are included, featuring 42 Acres’ regenerative “soil-to-gut” menu of vegetarian food, organically grown in the permaculture garden and wild-foraged from the land.
This is a true summer celebration, with time to discover the land, wildlife, practices, and powerful solstice energy together.
What to expect over the weekend:
Tickets are sold per room. If you would like to share your room with a lover or friend, an additional sharing fee applies to cover workshops and meals, and this can be added when booking.
Because this is a genuine summer celebration, the retreat size has been expanded beyond the usual numbers so everyone can gather and celebrate in style.
Please note: This retreat is an adults-only space, created to support deep rest, reflection, and connection. It is also a conscious, sober celebration, with alcohol and drugs not included.
About the hosts
Alex Mytton
Coming from the worlds of television, dance music, and extreme hedonism, Alex’s path has since taken a very different direction. Through the painful yet transformative experience of grief, and in seeking support for his own struggles with loss, addiction, and a lack of purpose, he has immersed himself in learning how to heal, reconnect with nature, and reframe what it means to truly live.
Driven by a deep wish to share what he has discovered, Alex has spent the past four years creating safe spaces, communities, and intentional experiences that offer others the chance to heal, reconnect, and gather in the same way he has.
He has now led more than 100 practices, 15 retreats, and 50 hikes, and recently launched the sober event series Frolik. His work continues to be shaped by childlike curiosity, compassion, and a growing focus on re-integration with the natural world, regeneration, and the power of supportive community.
