Yellow Rock Yoga has created its own approach to Yin Yoga teaching and invites you to experience it live on the beautiful island of Gozo in the Mediterranean Sea. This Yoga Alliance YACEP 50-hour training is open to yoga teachers for Continuing Education (50 CEU).
This training goes beyond the physical practice by weaving pranayama, meditation techniques, and visualizations into the sequences. You will learn how to guide students through the kosha layers so they can experience the deeper energetic benefits of Yin Yoga. Advanced practitioners who are not teachers will also discover how to design personalized sequences that support daily life. The focus is on optimizing energy in a thoughtful, practical way.
By the end of the course, you will be able to create your own Yin Yoga sequences to support a specific energetic intention, incorporating chakra work, breathwork, and meditation techniques.
Gozo is a small island in the Mediterranean Sea with around 300 days of sunshine each year and a rich cultural past. Some believe it was once part of Atlantis; others know it as the island of Calypso. What is certain is its remarkable natural beauty and the presence of ancient temples, caves, and other powerful places. It is an inspiring setting for a Yin Yoga teacher training or advanced practitioner course. Practice will also take place on beaches, cliffs, and remote spots around the island.
You will stay at the charming Quaint Boutique Hotels in Sannat or Xewkija, offering an authentic Gozitan village atmosphere and a comfortable room to return to after each day of training. More information about Quaint Boutique Hotels can be found on the Yoga, hiking and meditation retreats page.
You will be guided by Monique van Bemmelen, Lead Trainer, Yin Yoga teacher, 500 E-RYT and YACEP, together with Norbert Koch, Lead Trainer, Yin Yoga Teacher, RYT-500 and YACEP.
After completing the assignments and passing the test, you will receive a Yin Yoga Teacher Certificate from Yellow Rock Yoga. This training provides 50 CEU for Yoga Alliance International continuing education.

You will also receive a manual and access to the online platform so you can review the material at home. The total price, excluding dinner and flights, is 1895 euros.
