Spend a week learning how to guide meditation and yoga nidra on the beautiful island of Gozo. This immersive 50-hour Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Course takes you into a wide range of meditation techniques, with plenty of time to practice leading them yourself. Set on a sunny island in the Mediterranean Sea, the training is held outdoors by the sea whenever possible. It is open to certified yoga teachers and advanced meditation practitioners.
Gozo is a small island in the Mediterranean Sea, blessed with around 300 days of sunshine each year and a remarkably rich history. Some believe it was once part of Atlantis; others associate it with the island of Calypso. What is certain is its striking natural beauty, ancient temples, caves, and other powerful sites. It is an ideal setting for a meditation and yoga nidra teacher training or advanced practitioner course. Practice will take place on beaches, cliffs, and remote locations across the island.
You will stay at the charming Quaint Boutique Hotels in Sannat or Xewkija, giving you the experience of staying in an authentic Gozitan village while returning each day to a comfortable room after training. More information about Quaint Boutique Hotels can be found on the Yoga, hiking and meditation retreats page.
The training is guided by Monique van Bemmelen, a yoga and meditation teacher, 500 RYT and YACEP.
After completing the assignments and passing the test, you will receive a Meditation and Yoga Teacher Certificate from Yellow Rock Yoga. This provides 50 CEU to count as continuing education points with Yoga Alliance International.

If none of these dates work for you, you can ask about the possibility of taking the course one-to-one on other dates.

You will also receive a manual and access to the online platform so you can revisit the material at home. The total price, excluding dinner and flights, is 1895 euros in low and mid season, and 2095 euros in high season (July, August, September). It is also possible to book the course without accommodation, transfer, lunches, and transport. In that case, the course-only fee is 895 euros.
Booking is simple: send an email or use the Contact and bookings page. If you would like to learn more, a meeting via Facetime or Skype can also be arranged so you can get acquainted and discuss any questions.
