Yoga Alliance accredited teacher training is offered as a 200-hour course designed to deepen both your practice and your ability to guide others with confidence. This training explores the principles and practice of Hatha Flow, a graceful blend of traditional Hatha Yoga and soft, fluid movement. The approach makes yoga more accessible by teaching students how to adapt each posture to their own needs, abilities, and body structure.
This is a fully live, in-person 200-hour training delivered over four one-week modules, or as an intensive 23-day course. It takes place on Gozo, a small island in Southern Europe known for its 300 days of sunshine each year. Lessons and practice sessions are held by the sea in the village of Qbajjar, Marsalforn.
The focus is on learning how to teach safely, effectively, and in an inspiring way. You will teach a little each day and also have the opportunity to work with real yoga clients from the Yellow Rock Yoga community.
A distinctive part of the experience is the chance to practice outdoors every day. Depending on the season and the day, sessions may take place in different locations around the island, always close to nature and the sea. Theory classes may also be held outdoors or in a cozy classroom by the water.
Accommodation can be arranged in a private apartment in the Qbajjar area or in a room at the 4-star Calypso Hotel in Marsalforn for the full course, or in an apartment in Qbajjar. Lunch is included on course days and may be vegetarian, vegan, or whatever you choose from the restaurants visited for lunch, or you may prepare your own lunch at the Yoga House.
If the full 23 days are not possible, you can explore completing the certificate in two parts of 11 and 12 days, or take part of the training online. Other dates may also be available on request.
The 200-hour course costs 2995 euros without accommodation, lunches, or transport.
With airport transfer from and to Malta, daily lunches, and 22 nights in your own private apartment in the Qbajjar/Marsalforn area or at the 4-star Calypso Hotel in Marsalforn, the fee is 5595 euros in January and 5995 euros in April or October. If you wish to stay longer than 23 days, the additional daily cost can be arranged on request.
The training includes both a practical exam and a theory exam. Both must be passed in order to receive the Yoga Alliance accredited 200-hour certificate and register as a Registered Yoga Teacher 200 (RYT200) with Yoga Alliance International.
