


This gentle, non-invasive form of energy work is designed to encourage deep relaxation and support the body’s natural healing processes. It can be especially helpful during times of stress, while recovering from illness, or whenever you feel the need to reconnect with a greater sense of balance and ease.
Reiki is rooted in the understanding that a life force energy flows through all of us. When that energy becomes weak or blocked, it may show up as tension, fatigue, stress, or a general sense of being out of sync. When it moves freely, we tend to feel more vibrant, grounded, and well.
In a session, you remain fully clothed and lie comfortably on a treatment table while the practitioner places their hands lightly on, or just above, different areas of the body. The energy is then directed through the hands to where it is most needed.
There is nothing you need to do except rest. Many people slip into a deeply peaceful state; some fall asleep, while others notice emotions or vivid inner imagery. However your experience unfolds, it is exactly what is needed in that moment.
The practitioner is trained as a Reiki Master Practitioner, meaning all three levels of Reiki training and attunement have been completed. Reiki also pairs beautifully with Yin yoga for those seeking profound relaxation, or with chakra healing for a more focused energy-based experience.
Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing. The practitioner channels healing energy through the hands, either by gentle touch or by holding them just above the body, to support relaxation and the body’s own healing abilities.
Every experience is different. Some people feel very relaxed, warm, or lightly tingling. Others describe a sense of floating, while some simply feel calm and peaceful. There is no right or wrong response.
An open mind can be helpful, but no specific belief is required. Many people come to Reiki with curiosity rather than certainty and still find the experience deeply calming and beneficial.
Sessions usually last 45–60 minutes, though this may vary depending on your needs. We can discuss what feels appropriate when you book.
