An all-inclusive yoga and surf escape in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua.
Settle into secluded beaches, energizing yoga, exceptional surfing, and some of the best food in Nicaragua. This all-inclusive retreat is designed to help you arrive in spring feeling grounded, balanced, and full of fresh energy.
We are thrilled to host our second all-inclusive yoga and surf retreat at Costa Dulce Beach Bungalows in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. Surrounded by tropical beauty, this eco-retreat offers the chance to step away from daily life and fully unwind. With twice-daily yoga, nourishing meals, and generous free time to surf, read, relax in a hammock, and enjoy the sun, it is an ideal setting for body, mind, and spirit to recharge.
The retreat is led by Autumn Adams, RYT 200, a certified Hatha yoga instructor based in Bend, Oregon. She teaches at Juniper Yoga, Max Fitness, and the Broken Top Club, and also leads projects and retreats with Ambuja Yoga.
This all-inclusive experience covers locally sourced meals, non-alcoholic drinks such as local coffee and fresh fruit juices, alcoholic beverages including rum and beer, 7 nights of accommodation, surf guides, board rentals, twice-daily yoga sessions, a day of seva with Paso Pacifico, a one-hour massage, roundtrip shuttle service from Augusto C. Sandino International Airport (MGA) in Managua to Costa Dulce Beach Bungalows, and gratuity. All you need to do is pack your bags and make your way to Managua.
Autumn Adams is a certified Hatha yoga instructor registered with Yoga Alliance. She brings together hatha, vinyasa, and yin yoga to create dynamic classes for all levels. Each morning begins with an energizing all-levels vinyasa flow, while afternoon sessions may be a restorative flow class or a workshop, depending on the day’s activities. Every class lasts 1.5–2 hours and includes asana, pranayama, and meditation.
Expect to be gently challenged as you move through familiar and new postures. Autumn’s sequences are designed to create space, build openness, and release stress and tension from overuse, while supporting both body and mind.
The break in front of the bungalows at Playa Escameca offers a fun ride for beginning to intermediate surfers, while nearby Playa Yankee is better suited to more advanced surfers. The beach is also a wonderful place to spot wildlife. On the last trip, guests saw howler monkeys, parrots, and even a baby turtle making its way to the ocean.
Nicaragua is known for some of the world’s most beautiful sunsets, and there is no better way to enjoy them than with a cold Toña and new friends.
Hosted at the rustic yet eco-chic Costa Dulce Bungalows and Retreat Center, this retreat takes place less than 20 km from the surf town of San Juan del Sur in the far southwest corner of Nicaragua. The setting is so far south that Costa Rica can be seen from the yoga shala. Remote, beautiful, and full of character, getting there is part of the adventure.
