This workshop is the second in a series KNOW THYSELF 2026seminar. It is an encounter with evaluation, with the Criticism that hurts when we become vulnerable. Or vice versa - we want to prove to the world that I can, I'm worthy and so we spend our whole life proving to others and to ourselves. Once the INNER CRITIC is known and transformed, it becomes an INTUITIVE COUNSELOR and it is much easier to recognise the situation and act with dignity and empathy.
During the workshop the CONSTELLATIONS of the inner world will be laid out and the transformation of the inner critic into intuition will take place.

About the Inner Critic

An important focus of this workshop is the two sides of the Inner Critic: the Punisher and the Counsellor, who helps to live from within, consciously and authentically.

Who is the voice of the Inner Critic for you - the Punisher or the Counsellor?

Meeting the Inner Critic allows you to see the Inner Critic as the Punisher and to understand how this inner voice is formed.

Most often, this relationship with oneself is the result of one's environment: family, school, society. It helps us to create an image of ourselves, or it constantly highlights what we do not accept in ourselves - the so-called "weak" points. For example, parents may not accept certain behaviours or traits in a child: a boy may be told "don't cry, you're not a man", a girl may be told "you're ugly".

A child learns very early on that criticism is not just words about bad behaviour. It is not just words, it is also glances. The first criticism we encounter, which appears as soon as we are born, is the stares of those around us who observe, evaluate, compare, consider. Growing up, we are constantly under a magnifying glass: we are judged - good or bad, right or wrong, lucky or unlucky, beautiful or ugly, masculine or unmasculine.

All of this gradually settles deep down inside and eventually becomes our own opinion of ourselves. We start to see ourselves through other people's eyes and we start to punish ourselves: a bad mood, a fear of making mistakes, a fear of appearing 'wrong', of not conforming to someone's expectations or rules. We put on masks to please the world and move further and further away from ourselves - from a clear sense of who I am, what my talents are, how I can fulfil myself. There is a fear of speaking, a fear of expressing ourselves.

The aim of this workshop is to see what is in the way, what has developed in the course of life and what has become the consequence. This is neither good nor bad - it is part of our society, especially Western culture. It is an environment that encourages us to strive, to become something, to achieve. However, if it is only the parents' desire to fulfil themselves through the child, the teacher's aspiration to be a 'good teacher' or society's need for a comfortable employee, the person is becoming more and more distant from himself. Then there is a feeling inside: "I am not living my life".

It is time to stop and turn inwards - to see what is getting in the way and to meet the other side of the Inner Critic - the Counsellor. This is the inner voice that can help me to realise from within, to not be afraid of vulnerability, to be clear about what I want, how I am going to do it, and what my purpose in life is.

Being in touch with one's own inner source, based on the experience one has accumulated, it is possible to change a lot of things gently and painlessly - not by destroying or breaking oneself, but by transforming. The inner critic then becomes like a bridge to help you express yourself in life - in your family, in your environment, at work.

The less you react to external opinions, the more you will have self-awareness, intuition and a clear inner knowledge of how to behave in different situations. There will be no need to defend yourself or wear masks. There will be the will, the strength and the courage to be yourself, to walk your own path without falling out of the social space, but snugly inside yourself. You will feel a deep sense of security and act like an adult as you walk your path.
