Join the SUP adventures with sunrise gentle yoga and sunset meditation on the water.
Yoga on a paddleboard blends slow, long-held poses with the natural challenge of an unstable surface. Instead of practicing on a mat, you move through the experience on a floating board anchored in calm water or a sheltered bay.
Compared with studio yoga, the practice feels slower, more meditative, and deeply grounding. The added balance challenge invites greater focus, while the surrounding water creates a calming atmosphere that supports presence and ease.
SUP meditation is a peaceful way to practice mindfulness on the water. Floating gently on a paddleboard, you stay connected to breath, stillness, and the subtle movement beneath you. The natural rhythm of the board encourages deeper awareness of body and breath, while the open sky, fresh air, and sound of water create a profound sense of calm, clarity, and connection with nature.
The morning session begins with a gentle paddle across calm water toward a nearby beach, offering a natural warm-up as the body slowly wakes with each stroke. The steady motion helps generate heat, activate the core, and guide the mind away from distractions into a more focused, present state. Once the boards are anchored near the quiet shoreline, the pace softens into a grounding yoga practice with long, supported poses designed to open the body and release tension. Surrounded by sun, breeze, and the sounds of nature, the experience becomes increasingly restorative. The session then flows into relaxation, with time spent lying comfortably on the board. In the stillness of the water and the gentle movement below, you are invited to turn inward, quiet the mind, and absorb the peaceful energy of the moment.
SUP meditation is the practice of sitting, lying down, or gently moving on a floating Stand Up Paddleboarding board while focusing on breath, awareness, and stillness.
Rather than meditating indoors, you are surrounded by open water, soft movement, natural sounds, and fresh air. The board becomes a floating platform that naturally supports presence, as the body makes small balancing adjustments throughout the practice.
The experience is often described as:
"Being suspended between sky and water."
The morning session starts at 7am and the sunset session starts at 5.30pm. Both include paddling out to a secluded beach, which takes about 15 minutes. In the morning, the practice includes gentle yoga poses followed by relaxation, while at sunset the focus is on meditation before paddling back to the yoga centre.
Each session lasts 90 minutes or slightly longer, depending on sea conditions.
All equipment is provided.
