Running year-round since 2013, this was the first Egyptian Belly Dance holiday camp of its kind in the world. Each week-long retreat begins on either Saturday or Sunday, giving you the chance to enjoy a blissful 7-night journey dedicated to dance, connection, and discovery.
Throughout the week, you will explore new rhythms, refine your style, and deepen your technique in a Bohemian-inspired atmosphere. The program combines dance drills with captivating combinations, creating a supportive space for dancers at all stages of their journey. Whether you are drawn by the art itself or by the enchanting melodies of the Orient, this retreat is created with you in mind.
A highlight of the experience is the Oriental live performance on Friday evening, when Roby joins the group for a captivating show during Couscous night. Guests are warmly encouraged to bring a dance costume and share their talents during Roberta’s mesmerizing live performance.
Set in the heart of Morocco, the residency blends Oriental Egyptian dance with local music and the stunning natural surroundings of the region. You will also have the opportunity to connect with Berber culture, meet welcoming locals, and experience a richer understanding of daily life in the area. The full schedule includes memorable local discoveries, including the souk of Agadir, one of the south’s best-kept secrets.
There is also time to relax and connect with new friends in Morocco. Enjoy a peaceful garden setting, social moments with fellow dance lovers, aromatic herbal tea, and the soothing sounds of Egyptian music. Local half-day excursions and tours add another layer to this multi-ethnic cultural experience.
During free time, additional activities can be arranged, including salsa classes, kizomba classes, bachata classes, private dance classes, life love coaching, reiki, and cooking lessons.
