Head Shaman & Founder of SachaRuna

Miguel Kavlin has devoted more than 40 years to serving hundreds of people in Bolivia, Argentina, Europe, the United States, and Canada with love, devotion, and surrender. He has studied and applied teachings from multiple traditions, learning from masters including Babaji Baldev Singh, Beautiful Painted Arrow, Don Agustin Rivas Vasquez, Don Policarpio Flores Apaza, Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche, Sifu Kenny Gong, and Ladji Camara. His path has been one of becoming a clear channel for divine presence, allowing it to touch hearts and support healing without feeding mental drama.

Julio Añez
Resident Shaman at the Amazon Retreat Center

Born in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, Julio spent much of his life drawn to science and technology while searching for the mysteries behind reality and the self. During the COVID-19 quarantine, his life took a complete turn as he began exploring altered states of consciousness. Through daily meditation and yoga, he experienced divine presence for the first time, which led him to discover important teachers, lineages, and practices. He later entered serious apprenticeship in Amazonian and Andean Shamanism with the SachaRuna community, including rigorous fasts, diets, and retreats, and has since served as a shaman with strong results. His compassion, devotion, and capacity to support others help bring meaningful transformation to fruition. He is committed to a new way of life rooted in presence, compassion, and service, in pursuit of enlightenment and to guide other true seekers toward the same goal.
