9-Day Himalayan Hiking Retreat Schedule
- Day 1: Arrival & Grounding Check in and settle into the retreat space at your own pace. In the evening, enjoy nourishing meals, explore the surroundings, meet fellow participants, or simply rest.
- Day 2: Initiation & Orientation Breakfast at 08:30 am, followed by a fire ceremony and orientation at 10:00 am. After lunch at 01:00 pm, enjoy an Ayurvedic massage. In the evening, attend Ganga Aarti and have dinner at 08:00 pm.
- Day 3: Deepening Practice Begin with cleansing practice at 06:30 am, then asana and pranayama at 07:00 am. After breakfast, join a philosophy class at 11:00 am, followed by lunch, massage, evening meditation at 06:30 pm, and dinner at 08:00 pm.
- Day 4: Himalayan Expedition Begins Depart at 06:00 am and have breakfast en route. Visit Devprayag Sangam and Dhari Devi Temple, then check in to the hotel, rest, and have dinner at 08:00 pm.
- Day 5: Trek to Tungnath & Chandrashila Start with cleansing practice, yoga, and breakfast. Hike approximately 4 km to Tungnath Temple and an additional 1–2 km to Chandrashila Peak. Enjoy refreshments at Tungnath Local Market, then dinner, a night session or bonfire, and lights off at 10:00 pm.
- Day 6: Devriya Tal & Saari Village Exploration Begin with cleansing practice, yoga, and breakfast. Trek 3 km to Devriya Tal at 2438m, followed by a village walk and lunch in Saari Village. Evening dinner, night session or bonfire, and lights off at 10:00 pm.
- Day 7: Kartik Swami Temple Visit Morning cleansing practice, yoga, and breakfast. Trek 3 km to Kartik Swami Temple at 3050m, enjoy a traditional local lunch, and end the day with dinner and a night session or bonfire.
- Day 8: Return to Rishikesh Breakfast at 09:00 am, then depart for Rishikesh. Lunch is served en route, followed by dinner at the ashram at 08:00 pm.
- Day 9: Closure & Farewell Begin with yoga at 07:00 am and breakfast at 08:30 am. The morning closes with a farewell ceremony at 10:00 am. The final schedule may be adjusted to allow time for relaxation, and any changes will be discussed on Day 8 after dinner.

Prepare thoughtfully for your Himalayan journey with the items below.
- Indian Nationals (Domestic Travelers): Valid government-issued photo ID such as Aadhaar Card, Driver’s License, or PAN Card.
- International Participants (Foreign Nationals): Bring original documents, including a passport valid for at least six months beyond your stay, the appropriate visa for India, and travel insurance for medical emergencies and loss of belongings.
- Electronics: Power bank, optional camera.
- Yoga Essentials: Optional yoga mat and comfortable yoga attire.
- Food & Hydration: Reusable water bottles (2L+), optional water purification tablets, and energy snacks such as bars or nuts.
- Toiletries: Toothbrush and toothpaste, biodegradable soap and shampoo, sunscreen (SPF 30+), SPF lip balm, moisturizer, wet wipes, hand sanitizer, toilet paper/tissues, personal medications, and a first aid kit including altitude sickness tablets and band-aids.
