At Bliss Haven, you are invited into a rare guided experience of total darkness, where the outside world fades away and your inner landscape comes into focus.

This darkness meditation retreat offers a deeply personal journey. With no light, technology, or external stimulation, the senses naturally turn inward (pratyahara), and the mind begins to settle. For many guests, this creates space for profound calm, emotional healing, and unforgettable moments of insight. For others, it may bring resistance, grief, or a new understanding of self.

Whatever arises, the dark becomes the teacher. People arrive for many different reasons:

A reset after burnout
To deepen a spiritual or meditative path
To process grief or life transitions
Out of curiosity about consciousness and inner silence

Some guests come from Vipassana or yoga backgrounds. Others simply feel called in a way they cannot fully explain.

Your Facilitator: Veronica Belle

At the center of this experience is Veronica Belle, a certified Mindfulness Coach and Kaula Tantra Yoga Teacher who has supported dozens of seekers through their own journeys in darkness.

Veronica has completed multiple darkness retreats herself, and guests often speak of the safety, care, and wisdom she brings to each person’s process. From the lovingly prepared meals to the gentle support offered before and after the retreat, she holds space with both professionalism and heart.

A Sanctuary of One

Bliss Haven welcomes only one darkness guest at a time, allowing for deep privacy, focused attention, and a peaceful setting for your inward journey.

The dark room is:

Temperature-controlled, sound-buffered, and completely sealed from light
Equipped with a private bathroom, meditation space, yoga mat, bed, and light-proof food delivery system
Designed simply and mindfully, creating room for reflection and surrender

Guests often describe the experience as both challenging and sacred—an invitation to meet life as it is, within.

What Happens During a Retreat?

Each retreat unfolds a little differently, but you can expect the following:

Choose Your Duration: Stay for 3, 5, 7, or more days, or create your own timeline.
Opening Ritual: Join Veronica at Punta Cometa to watch the sun set over the Pacific and set your intention.
Candle Blessing: Before entering the room, you’ll be guided through a quiet ritual to help you center and ground.
Daily Nourishment: Two fresh vegetarian meals are delivered each day to your light-sealed food box. All meals are lovingly prepared onsite, with custom dietary support available.
Re-Emergence Ceremony: On your final day, in the pre-dawn light, you’ll walk with Veronica to the ocean and watch the sunrise—a gentle return to light and life.

A steady meditation or yoga practice is recommended beforehand.
