Chi Release & Dearmoring

An immersive training in the ancient Taoist art of abdominal massage and emotional release, designed to support both personal transformation and practical mastery. By the end of the experience, you will have the skills to practice this work on your own.

The Lineage

This practice is grounded in the ancient Taoist tradition of Chi Nei Tsang, an abdominal massage method developed by Taoist sages who understood that energetic blockages can be held in the internal organs, forming knots and tangles in the belly. These obstructions affect the body’s vital functions and restrict the flow of chi, the life force.

At Flourish Within Sanctuary, Chi Release and Dearmoring is our own expression of this lineage. The training is designed to help you carry this work with skill and reverence, honoring its Taoist roots while bringing it forward in our unique form.

The Curriculum

What You Will Learn & Receive

Six days of teaching, hands-on practice, and personal embodiment are woven into one immersive container.

1. Taoist Foundations
   The lineage, philosophy, and energetic map of Chi Nei Tsang, including how Taoist sages understood the belly as the seat of stored emotion and life force.
2. Abdominal Anatomy
   The physical terrain of the belly — organs, fascia, and energetic centers — so your hands can read the body with precision and care.
3. Hands-On Chi Nei Tsang
   Daily hands-on practice offering and receiving full-protocol sessions, guided closely by Michael until the work moves through you with confidence.
4. Dearmoring Technique
   The deeper layer of the work: meeting stored armor in the body’s tissues through skilled, consensual touch that invites release rather than forcing it.
5. Live Demonstrations
   Observe complete sessions from beginning to end and witness timing, listening, and the way the practitioner holds space as the body begins to move and emote.
6. Daily Embodiment
   Morning breathwork, somatic movement, and meditation support your own nervous system regulation, so your hands can transmit that regulation to others.
7. Holding Emotional Release
   Learn how to remain present, grounded, and steady when grief, rage, fear, or ecstasy moves through someone on your table. This is the art of witnessing.
8. Integration Circles
   Each evening, the group gathers to share what moved, what opened, and what needs more time. The training is metabolized through community as much as through technique.
9. Sanctuary & Nourishment
   Six nights at Flourish Within Sanctuary, with jungle-wrapped surroundings, organic meals, sauna and cold plunge, and the natural world holding the learning container.
