If you are seeking time away from the demands of everyday life, this silent retreat offers an ideal space for experienced meditators. Held at Mindfulness Unleashed, the one-day silent meditation retreat is designed for those with at least two months of meditation practice.

Set just a three-minute walk from the beautiful Bradgate Deer Park, it is a wonderful chance to enjoy a peaceful day in rural Leicestershire. The retreat runs from 10:00am to 4:00pm. More details about the one-day meditation retreats are provided below.

The retreat is led by Suryacitta, a five-time author and one of the UK’s most experienced meditation teachers. He is recognised for his clarity, simplicity, and humour.

Silent Meditation Retreat

Please note that these days are held in silence and are intended for people with at least two months of meditation experience. If you do not yet have that experience but feel ready to attend, please get in touch.

This one-day meditation retreat follows a very simple format. It includes short sitting meditations of 20 to 25 minutes, followed by 20 minutes of open practice, giving you time to sit in the garden, stretch your legs, or have tea. There will also be teaching and discussion focused on letting go. Lunch is included.

A silent meditation retreat gives us the chance to step away from busy routines, rest, and bring our attention back to our meditation practice.

For those joining our meditation weekends from further away, local accommodation details can be provided upon booking. Options include a selection of nearby hotels, Airbnbs, and B&Bs, all within a short distance of the retreat and available for one or two nights. These retreats offer teachings that support a deeper understanding of yourself, life, and meditation, while also helping you slow down and relax.
