




Led by Simona, whose yoga experience spans more than 25 years, this 200-hour yoga teacher training is designed for students seeking a complete and recognized foundation in teaching. The trainings are certified by Yoga Alliance and combine online study with immersive onsite practice at Marga Yoga studio in Koh Samui.

100 hours online + 100 hours onsite
ONSITE DATES
The online portion is self-paced and can begin up to 4 weeks before the onsite course. It includes recorded theory and practice classes, along with weekly live Q&A sessions arranged according to time zones.
HATHA YOGA COURSE CONTENT
Hatha Yoga
Introduction to Hatha yoga, its guiding principles, and the meaning and practice of asana, pranayama, mudra, and bandha.
Pranayama
Different breathing techniques, the definition of prana, the science of breath, Ida, Pingala, and Sushumna nadi, plus practices such as abdominal breathing, full yogic breath, Kapalabhati, Nadi Shodan, and Bramhari Pranayama.
Asana
Surya Namaskar variations, basic postures including standing, sitting, backbends, inversions, twists, and arm balances, as well as intermediate to advanced variations, body alignment, and Yoga Nidra. The course also includes yoga for pregnancy, children, and the elderly.
Mudra
Meaning and importance of mudra in Hatha yoga, types of mudra, practice of Jnana and Chin Mudra, and their physical, mental, and spiritual benefits.
Bandha
Explanation of bandha, along with different types and their practice.
Meditation
What meditation is, the difference between Dharana and Dyhana, and practices including breathing meditation, mantra meditation, and walking meditation.
Yoga Nidra
Definition of sleep and its benefits, the three states of consciousness, and Yoga Nidra practices.
Yoga Philosophy
What yoga is, its history, types of yoga, the five kosha, self-realization and liberation, consciousness, the eight limbs of yoga, and the Bhagavad Gita.
Yogic Anatomy
Yogic anatomy and physiology, body systems, the effects of asana and pranayama, basic joint studies to help avoid injury, and diet and nutrition.
Adjustment and Alignment
Practicing asana correctly, front/side/back bending, use of props, different styles of asana and their benefits, contraindications, and yoga therapy.
Additional Topics
Kriyas according to classical Hatha yoga, mantra yoga and the importance of OM-AUM, the seven main chakras, chakra meditation, kirtan, and karma yoga. Students will also take part in seva-based Karma Yoga activities at the yoga center during the course.
MEALS
Two daily meals are included: brunch and dinner. Meals are traditional Thai vegetarian and vegan dishes, prepared to be highly nutritious.

CANCELLATION POLICY
