About your guide: Pablo Ferrero

Your companion on this journey is Pablo Ferrero, a teacher who blends technical precision with spiritual depth. A student of yoga since the age of 16 and a teacher since 2012, Pablo has trained extensively in Iyengar Yoga, Hatha Yoga, and Tantra Yoga. His approach goes beyond asana, combining precise anatomy with the profound philosophy of traditional yoga. In addition to being the director and founder of Matrika Yoga School, he is an experienced guide in northern India, Switzerland, and Peru, and a practitioner of osteopathy and ayurveda. With more than 40 guided journeys around the world, his guidance offers an authentic, meaningful, and enriching adventure.

An experience that moves beyond your comfort zone

This is not a prepackaged tour designed for passive consumption. Here, you will be invited to make conscious choices, step beyond your comfort zone, and stay open to the unexpected. The intention is clear: to explore both the outer world of the Himalayas and your own inner landscape.

Itinerary and key moments

• Welcome in Delhi: We will meet on August 2 at 12:00h at our hotel. From there, the journey begins with an opening circle and a sensory immersion into Delhi’s vibrant markets and streets, starting to connect with the intensity of India.
• Flight to Leh and acclimatization: The following day we will travel to Leh, the capital of the former kingdom of Ladakh. We will spend the day acclimatizing to the 3,500-meter altitude through gentle walks that help body and spirit adapt to this demanding environment.
• Exploring Ladakh: Over the next days, we will visit villages, hamlets, and monasteries from different schools of Tibetan Buddhism, including Thiksey, Shey, Chemday, Sakti, and Spituk. We will cross Nubra Valley, known as “the valley of flowers,” all the way to Turtuk, the last village before the Pakistan border. We will also explore the Changthang region and its striking colored lakes, including Pangong and Tsomoriri.
• Retreat in Hemissupachen: After 11 days of travel, we will settle in the village of Hemissupachen, located between Lamayuru and Leh. Here, the yoga and meditation retreat begins. Each day will include deep practice, philosophical talks, and treks of 2 to 4 hours that bring us face to face with the vastness of the Himalayas. We will also visit sacred monasteries such as Alchi and Likir, the village of Lamayuru, and the Aryan Valley.
