During this retreat, you are invited to reconnect with the dance that lives deep within you — the joy of your dream, the wild soul longing to move through you. Nature offers a nourishing and grateful womb in which your dream can come alive again, or even more fully. Through silence, yoga, dance, and direct nature experience, this retreat offers a refreshing holiday, shared time, and space for yourself. Together, we connect with the wild nature around us in the Ardennes and the wild nature within.
This yoga, dance, and nature retreat is designed to help you replenish, slow down, and enjoy. It offers time to connect with nature, delicious food, warm community by the campfire, and much more. At the heart of the experience are:
connecting with nature
connecting with the primal elements
experiencing deep peace, silence, and love
movement, yoga, dance, and walking
recharging and restoring your energy
coming home in a joyful community of people
Morning silence

Gert Daniels is a warm-hearted man who, as a dance and yoga teacher, delights in life and invites others to live from the heart and from feeling. He is director and all-round helper of the non-profit We See You, which works with dance, song, and martial arts for vulnerable children and young people, as well as schools. Through many teachers around the world, he shares countless inner treasures with those who need them, by being present with gentleness and deep listening. His specialities include Sacred Sufi Dervish Dance and the Sword Dance (Tog Chöd Wisdom Sword). For years, he has co-organized men’s gatherings to guide men more into heart and feeling, and to inspire both younger and older men. He is also co-creator of the Tribe of the Heart, where every heart is needed in this time of great change.
Sophie Vandenkerchove feels deeply connected to inner and outer wild nature. She trained as a Wilderness Rites of Passage Guide at the School of Lost Borders in California. For many years, she has practiced Zen meditation in the Korean tradition and has received several initiations in Druidism and local Celtic shamanism. Her favorite place is the forest, or the pilgrim paths in the Ardennes, where she has received some of her most profound insights about life. Sophie grew up in the forests of the Belgian Ardennes, where, as a child, she felt a strong bond with the land of her ancestors. After wandering through wild places in the cities, she returned to her ancestral village. There she founded Chamai, a retreat center where she guides trainings, Vision Quests, and nature weekends.
