Love Life Retreat is held at Ashuma Center in a peaceful valley surrounded by mountain peaks and forests of Montenegro.
Each tent has a private entrance and its own outdoor space. The tents are fully equipped with authentic teak furniture and Siberian larch flooring. The bathrooms are attached and include all necessary facilities.
You will enjoy delicious and nourishing vegetarian cuisine served buffet-style twice a day. The kitchen uses thoughtful methods such as sous-vide cooking and raw desserts to help preserve the maximum nutritional value of the ingredients. Expect healthy, flavorful meals in the cozy atmosphere of the retreat.
There is no instant gratification here. Instead, you are invited into a deeper state of presence.
During the retreat, you will learn how to tie intentions into the magic of macrame knots and create a bespoke VIITTA Hoody with your own hands. This is the first time the secret of the VIITTA Hoody is being shared with the world, and the designer piece requires more than 20 hours of commitment.
This destination retreat was designed to guide you toward mindfulness, helping you stay fully present and aware as you work with each knot and pattern. You will learn to trust yourself and your hands as you build complex macrame forms, moving step by step without skipping ahead. In this process, you can enter a flow state where time seems to disappear and only your craft remains.
The program was born from a connection between two women, woven together through friendship, love for life, and the creation of something entirely new: a unique fusion of yoga practices and macrame knotting. Love Life Retreats and VIITTA House have joined forces to bring this collaboration to you.
Macrame is an ancient knotting technique made with just your hands and a bit of rope. These handmade knots can be used to create patterns for interior design, fashion, or spiritual practice. “Each handmade garment becomes your spiritual armour, knotted with your own hands and intentions. When you wear it, you feel empowered and supported,” says Violetta, the macrame teacher.
