Spend a transformative week at Lake Atitlan, Guatemala, exploring cacao, conscious connection, embodied living, and sacred ceremony in a deeply immersive setting.
What is sacredness?
Throughout the retreat, you will reflect on what it means to serve as a guardian of this sacred plant medicine and to walk the medicine path with presence and reverence. The experience weaves together yoga, sacred ceremony, lectures, discussions, plant medicine journeys, tours, and time with local and Indigenous teachers, guests, and facilitators.
Your participation is framed as an offering: a way to give back while connecting with the healing gift and power of sacred cacao. Ritual offerings and gratitude prayers will help you engage with the culture and cosmology behind these ancient teachings.
As part of the journey, you will visit local towns around Lake Atitlan and Chichicastenango, meet local medicine men and women, and have the opportunity to travel and stay with a local Mayan spiritual guide. If you choose to extend your stay, there is also an option to visit the ancient Mayan temple of Tikal.
Each day explores a different theme within the Elemental Medicine Wheel method, supporting greater harmony in the body, with the Earth, and in daily life.
This retreat offers a meaningful way to deepen your sacred cacao practice, whether you are new to the path or already a practitioner. It is an invitation to connect with the sacred plant medicine of cacao and the Mayan lands.
Join for a week of connection, prayer, celebration, ceremony, and council in these sacred lands.
