Join a private five-day retreat at The Land in Philo, California, created for up to 10 couples to privately learn Orgasmic Meditation (OM), a meditation practice that has shown early promise in a Phase 1 clinical trial for PTSD and related symptoms.
Tens of thousands of people have learned OM, and nine studies have been completed to date. This retreat is not a study, but an opportunity to share the practice with American veterans living with PTSD and their spouses in a quiet, supported setting.
The hosts will record short interviews before and after the retreat, as well as after the instruction, to capture human stories and help share this free, safe practice with others who may benefit from it.

OM is a structured attention-training practice between two people, guided by a defined set of detailed instructions. Both partners direct their full attention to a single point of physical connection and observe what they feel.
It takes a bottom-up approach to healing, where change begins in the body and then influences the mind, rather than starting with talk therapy or medication. Researchers have observed brain changes in participants that are comparable to those seen after years of meditation practice, including in people who are healthy as well as those experiencing chronic anxiety or PTSD symptoms.
No pills. No appointments. A practice, not a treatment plan.
"The most powerful thing for me was the first time I did the practice, I stopped feeling numb. I suddenly felt alive."
Andy Garcia Specialist, U.S. Army
"When you're trying to bury all these emotions, you put yourself in a deep, dark rabbit hole. Through this practice, I was able to heal my trauma."

"I tried ibogaine, I did 10 sessions of ayahuasca, I'd done psilocybin… but you can't take ayahuasca every day. [OM] gave me a feeling of regulation — a place and a space for fifteen minutes to relax."

The retreat will be documented through before-and-after interviews with the couples and footage of the gathering itself. No footage of the practice will ever be recorded. A 15–20 minute mini-documentary will be created from this material.
The film will be used to share this protocol with people who may need it most, especially first responder and combat veteran communities that may never otherwise hear about it.
