The Buddha teaches that hatred cannot end hatred; only non-hatred can do that. In this daylong, we’ll reflect on how love offers a way forward for ourselves, our communities, and the wider world. Fear, self-absorption, and constant measuring can build countless barriers, while lovingkindness opens them. Together, we’ll explore the spacious friendliness of mettā and how it serves as both the path and the fruit of meditation practice.
The program includes guided and silent sitting meditation, walking meditation, a dharma talk, and time for questions with the teacher. All are welcome.
