Burnout often arrives gradually, long before it is fully recognised. It can build through constant pushing, over-giving, and the habit of saying “I’m fine” while carrying more than the body can sustain. Over time, this may show up as fatigue, brain fog, anxiety, irritability, poor sleep, hormonal changes, and the sense that energy never truly comes back.
This month is dedicated to recovery from depletion. We look at the connection between chronic stress, adrenal health, nervous system exhaustion, and the deeper energetic patterns that can keep burnout repeating. Burnout is not only about feeling tired; it is often the body asking for a different way of living.
The intention of this retreat is to create space for pause, awareness, and true restoration. Through restorative practices, somatic awareness, BodyTalk integration, and holistic stress support, participants are guided from survival mode toward a more sustainable sense of balance. This month is about listening carefully to what the body has been trying to communicate.
This is more than stress management. It is an exploration of the deeper nervous system and energetic patterns behind chronic depletion. By combining physical restoration with BodyTalk-inspired healing and emotional awareness, the experience supports both the symptoms of burnout and the underlying causes. The focus is not productivity. It is sustainability.
This August Wellness Saturday offers a deeply supportive and integrative experience designed to restore energy, regulate the nervous system, and bring clarity to the roots of burnout. You will be guided through:
This experience is for you if you feel like you are constantly running on empty, experience fatigue, brain fog, emotional exhaustion, or irritability, or are ready to stop surviving and begin restoring. No prior herbal knowledge is required.

As always, Hara Shanti partners with professionals who prioritise safety, integrity, and evidence-informed practice.
Burnout to Balance is part of a wider retreat journey created to support long-term wellness rather than temporary recovery. Each month offers a new opportunity to reconnect with the body and create change that is sustainable, embodied, and deeply supportive. Each session stands on its own, while together they form a cohesive pathway toward sustainable wellbeing.
Healing from burnout is not about returning to who you were before. It is about becoming someone who no longer abandons themselves in order to keep everything else going. This month is your invitation to return to balance, protect your energy, and choose a different way forward. Spaces are intentionally limited to preserve depth, safety, and personalised guidance.

Star is the founder and owner of Chi Time Teas, bringing a thoughtful, grounded approach to herbal education and plant-based wellbeing. With a deep respect for plants, Star sees them not as quick solutions, but as gentle companions that offer quiet support to the body, the nervous system, and the subtle spaces in between. Through this perspective, Star creates an inviting...
