A student first and always; "My aim is to help people develop a personal, safe and healing practise. I am continually grateful to all who share yoga with me. Deep gratitude especially goes to my teacher John Scott and my dear students....all of whom inspire me to keep learning and sharing the way of yoga everyday."
The retreat centre is set within 2.5 acres of grounds in a valley surrounded by olive and almond groves.
Accommodation includes six twin rooms and one double room, all with private ensuite bathrooms. Each room has been renovated to a high standard using locally sourced materials, creating a luxurious yet simple and understated atmosphere. A large outdoor courtyard serves as the main communal dining space, while several terraces offer peaceful places to relax in either sun or shade.
At the heart of the property, the swimming pool creates a vibrant meeting point, with blue water set against green olive trees and red soil.
Food is an important part of both practice and daily life here. Meals are designed to be varied, unprocessed, and nourishing, supporting energy and wellbeing. The food served is predominantly plant based, with some vegetarian options. Produce sourced and grown at YogApulia is local, seasonal, and organic wherever possible.
Refreshments are available throughout the day and include tea, coffee, water, and fruit.
Brindisi international airport is approximately 40 minutes away by car, while Bari is further north, about 55 minutes away. Hiring a car in Puglia is relatively affordable and offers a wonderful way to explore the surrounding countryside, historic towns, and beaches. Both Bari and Brindisi airports have a wide choice of car hire companies. It is recommended to book in advance. Alternatively, a taxi can be arranged to collect you on arrival.
