She studied Holistic Medicine at the Kiental School in Switzerland. She first encountered Zen Shiatsu in 1987, at the same time she studied Culture and Philosophy in Tokyo. With a scholarship from the Japanese government, she had the opportunity to study and live in Japan, learning directly from Master Suzuki and at the Lokai center, founded by Masunaga. In 1991, she began teaching shiatsu in Japan.
In 1988, she discovered traditional Thai massage and lived at the Old Hospital of Medicine in Chiang Mai, Thailand. She also studied in Bangkok and Pai in 1997.
Since 2001, she has also been a teacher of Jahara Water Therapy.
From 2012 onward, she began teaching in Ecuador.
This therapy aims to rebalance the flow of vital energy in the body and is promoted by the Government of Japan. Zen Shiatsu brings together the wisdom of ancient Chinese medicine with Japanese precision and simplicity, with the goal of correcting energetic imbalances, supporting health, and contributing to the healing of specific ailments.
This is a healing technique linked to Buddha, with connections to acupuncture, Chinese medicine, and yoga. At first glance, it resembles a dance in which the therapist guides the recipient through yoga-like postures. The therapist remains deeply focused, in a meditative and relaxed state, paying attention to both their own breathing and that of the client.
The technique includes a wide range of maneuvers, stretches, and twists, with the therapist using different parts of the body in various positions.
