Set in the lush beauty of Hale Akua’s jungle farm, this tour offers an engaging introduction to regenerative agriculture and closed-loop farming for guests of all backgrounds. Whether you are new to organic growing or already familiar with sustainable food systems, you will be welcomed into an inspiring hands-on experience that connects you more deeply with the land.
During the visit, you will be guided through the farm to discover how animals, vegetables, fruits, and herbs are raised using organic methods. Along the way, you can see and taste what is currently in season while learning about composting, mushroom cultivation, black soldier fly larvae, and the care of fish and food forests. The experience also highlights how tree growing helps sequester carbon and supports food security. You will have the chance to meet the farmers and spend time with ducks, chickens, bees, and fish, while gaining a brief introduction to how similar practices can be brought into your own backyard.
