This women-only hiking retreat in Norway is designed for those who want to challenge themselves, enjoy breathtaking scenery, and share the journey with a supportive group of like-minded women.
Set in the dramatic landscapes of Norway, this retreat combines active exploration with space for rest, reflection, and connection. Guided by an experienced female guide, you will hike through fjords, waterfalls, and mountain terrain while experiencing the strength that comes from moving through nature with purpose.
Created exclusively for women, this journey offers a warm and encouraging atmosphere where shared experiences naturally build camaraderie. It is an opportunity to step away from everyday routines, enjoy meaningful conversation, and feel both independent and supported at the same time.
By the end of the retreat, you will return home with a stronger sense of confidence, fresh memories, and new connections. The experience brings together adventure, mindfulness, and the quiet magic of Norway’s landscapes in one inspiring week.
Day 1, Friday
Arrival day: airport pickup, check-in at the accommodation, introduction to the program, time to meet the other guests, and a welcome dinner.
Day 2, Saturday
Breakfast at the hotel buffet and packed lunch.
Hike to Tusenårsvarden, 523 m.a.s.l. (1715 ft), or Varden viewpoint, 407 m.a.s.l. (1335 ft), covering 6-10 km (3-6 miles). If weather permits, there is a swim in a mountain lake. After the hike, enjoy stretching and recovery at the local yoga studio. Dinner at a local cafe or restaurant.
Day 3, Sunday
Breakfast and packed lunch.
Hike to Troll Church, 484 m.a.s.l. (1587 ft), with three limestone and marble grottos, underground streams, and a waterfall. The route may include a lake with white marble jetties, and braver hikers may swim. The hike can be around 8 km (5 miles), or longer for those who want to continue over the mountain ridge to create a loop back to the caves. Guests may choose how long they wish to hike. In the evening, join a restorative yoga session at the local studio, followed by dinner at a local cafe or restaurant.
Day 4, Monday
Breakfast and packed lunch.
Hike Jendemsfjellet, 633 m, near Molde, with a stunning 360-degree view over fjords and mountains. A shorter or longer trail can be chosen. After the hike, unwind in a hot sauna floating on the fjord, then cool off with a dip in the fjord’s refreshing water. Dinner at a local cafe or restaurant.
Day 5, Tuesday
Breakfast, packed lunch, ferry trip, and drive to Trollstigen if the road is open.
Explore the famous mountain road with 11 hairpin bends, an elevation of 850 m (2788 ft), and views of Stigfossen waterfall. Guests may choose to drive up or hike. The Kløvstien route, preserved as cultural heritage, includes stone steps and chains for safer passage on difficult sections. If Trollstigen is closed, the alternative is a drive to Rødven, home to a 12th-century stave church, followed by a hike to Skåla (Lille-Oxen), 8 km with 250 m elevation gain. Dinner at a local cafe or restaurant.
Day 6, Wednesday
Breakfast and packed lunch, then a road trip to the Atlantic Road.
This National Tourist Route runs between Bud and Kristiansund through a striking coastal landscape. The 8.3 km road features eight bridges totaling 891 meters. The hike of the day is Sjurvarden, 667 m.a.s.l. (2188 ft), with wide views toward the Atlantic Ocean and the surrounding coast. On a rainy day, the alternative is Kyststien, a 10 km coastal walk.
