With Trungram Gyalwa Rinpoche
A Dharmakaya Center retreat
Across the Discovering the Dharma series, H.E. Trungram Gyalwa Rinpoche lays the groundwork for Buddhist study. In this year’s program, he presents the full Tibetan Buddhist path through teachings from Gampopa’s Jewel Ornament of Liberation. Over five days of immersive learning and guided practice, he explores the mind of ignorance and insight, the path of practice, and the teacher-student relationship. Each session includes an extended Q&A, along with a specially designed Tsa-Tue yoga practice and guided meditation. Daily walking meditation, small group discussions, and time for personal practice are also included. Full access to the recordings is available after the program.
ONLINE OPTION: To make these teachings more widely accessible, Rinpoche is also offering this program via live-stream. Please note that attendance at Discovering the Dharma I, II, and III in person is required to qualify for Discovering the Dharma IV.
The Mind of Ignorance and Insight: Empower Yourself by Knowing Yourself
Explore how the path beyond fear and frustration opens the door to enlightenment. Build practical tools for working with, and ultimately overcoming, disturbing emotions.
The Path: Follow an Accelerated, Systematic Process to Achieve Enlightenment
Receive an overview of the entire Tibetan Buddhist path to awakening. Study the life of the Buddha and learn the step-by-step path to enlightenment as presented in Gampopa’s Thargyan, described in his foundational text, Ornament of the Precious Liberation.
The Spiritual Teacher: Learn the Importance of Finding the Right Teacher
Understand why an authentic teacher matters on the spiritual path, what qualities are needed in both teacher and student, and how to relate to a teacher for your greatest benefit.
No prerequisites are required for this program. It is suitable for meditators at every level, as well as anyone interested in exploring these teachings. Although it is part of the Discovering the Dharma series, the first three programs may be taken in any order.
