Step into a spring retreat designed to help you feel more grounded in your body, clearer in your mind, and more connected to what truly matters. Yoga was never intended to stay on the mat alone. As B.K.S. Iyengar reminds us, it is “a way of life” — a practice that shapes how we live, relate, and meet the world with awareness.
This gathering offers a gentle invitation to slow down and return to your true self. Drawing from the wisdom of the Eight Limbs of Yoga, we will explore how these ancient teachings can support contemporary life: creating steadiness in the body and nervous system, building the courage to meet yourself with honesty, and cultivating the clarity that comes through focused attention and insight.
Set in the beautiful Menla Retreat Center in the Catskills, the retreat is supported by clean mountain air, fresh spring water, nourishing meals, and access to both indoor and outdoor sanctuaries. During your free time, you are welcome to do as much or as little as you wish — wander forest paths, rest beside the water, explore Menla’s nature-based offerings, or simply enjoy silence and your own company.
Across four days, we will gather for movement, nature, stillness, and reflection. All are welcome, and no yoga experience is needed.
