




Experience an unforgettable 9-day, 8-night journey from Marrakesh to Casablanca, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via Ouarzazate and traveling through some of Morocco’s most remarkable landscapes and historic cities. Along the way, you will discover a UNESCO World Heritage site, explore Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” visit Atlas Studios and Taourirt Kasbah, admire the Valley of Roses and Dades Valley, and continue to the Merzouga desert for camel trekking and a night in Berber tents among the dunes. The route then leads to Fes, passing through Erfoud, Ziz Valley, Midelt, Azrou, Ifrane, and the Middle Atlas mountains, before continuing to Volubilis, Meknes, Rabat, and finally Casablanca.
Day 1: Arrival in Marrakesh – Transfer to the Hotel
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed at the airport and transferred to your riad in the Medina, the historic heart of Marrakesh.
Day 2: Full Day in Marrakesh
Today offers an optional private guided tour of Marrakesh with an official guide. Discover the Koutoubia Mosque, the Medina and its souks, and other highlights such as the Ali Ben Youssef Koranic school, the Saadian and Bahia Palaces, and the Majorelle Gardens. Overnight in a riad in the Medina.
Day 3: Marrakesh - Ait Benhaddou Kasbah - Ouarzazate - Dades Valley
The tour departs through the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi N Tichka to reach Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, one of Morocco’s most beautiful kasbahs and a UNESCO World Heritage site. After exploring the kasbah, continue toward Dades Valley. On the way, pass through the Valley of Roses, known for its annual rose festival. Dinner, breakfast, and overnight in a hotel in Dades Valley.
Day 4: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga Desert
Leave Dades Valley and head toward Todra Gorge through Tinghir, with stops for photos and panoramic canyon views. Continue to Touroug for lunch, then travel to Erfoud to visit local fossil craft workshops. In the afternoon, arrive in Merzouga for a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. The night is spent in a traditional desert camp with nomad Berber tents, with sunset and sunrise views and drum music in the heart of the Sahara.
Day 5: Merzouga – Khamlia – Erg Chebbi Dunes
Wake early to enjoy the desert sunrise, then ride camels back to meet your driver. Spend the day exploring the desert, visiting nomad families and the Gnaoua village of Khamlia, where you will enjoy authentic music and instruments. After sharing a traditional Berber pizza, transfer to your accommodation for the night.
Day 6: Merzouga – Erfoud – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes
Travel to Rissani to explore the local souks, then continue via Erfoud, Aoufous, and the Ziz Valley with a panoramic stop over the Aoufous oasis in the Tafilalet region. After lunch in Midelt, drive toward Fes through the cedar forest near Azrou and the Middle Atlas mountains, with the possibility of seeing Barbary apes. A stop in Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco, is possible before arriving in Fes.
Day 7: Full Day to Visit Fes, the Old Imperial City
Explore Fes with a local guide, beginning at the Royal Palace gate. Visit a ceramics cooperative to see traditional Moroccan craftsmanship, then continue through the Medina to the Jewish Quarter and the Tanneries. The tour includes major cultural and historical sites, including Al Karaouen University. In the afternoon, enjoy a panoramic view over the Medina and visit the new city of Fes.
Day 8: Fes – Volubilis – Meknes – Rabat – Casablanca
Depart Fes for the Roman-Berber ruins of Volubilis, a partly excavated ancient city near Meknes. Continue to Meknes, closely associated with Moulay Ismail, and visit Bab Mansour and El Hedim Square. Lunch will be in Rabat, where you will explore the Kasbah of Udayas, Hassan Tower, and the tomb of Yacoub Al-Mansour. After visiting the capital, continue on to Casablanca.
Day 9: Casablanca – Airport
After breakfast, transfer to the airport according to your departure time. Before heading to Casablanca airport, enjoy a city tour to see some of its most important landmarks, including Hassan II Mosque, United Nations Square, and the Corniche. End of the tour.
