




This 9-day, 8-night journey from Agadir into southern Morocco combines desert adventure, mountain scenery, and cultural discovery. Travel through the Souss region, visit the silver town of Tiznit, and continue deep into the Sahara for camel trekking and an overnight stay in a Berber camp. Along the route, you’ll encounter dramatic gorges, peaceful valleys, and iconic landmarks such as the Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, Marrakech, and Essaouira.
Day 1: Agadir – Tiznit – Tafraoute Souss
We begin in Agadir and head to Tiznit, a town known for its silver craftsmanship. After a visit, the journey continues through the scenic mountains of the region, with lunch en route before arriving in Tafraoute. This oasis is surrounded by striking natural rock formations scattered across the Souss area. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 2: Tafraoute – Amlen Valley – Tata
After breakfast, we travel to the Ameln Valley, located 7 km from Tafraoute, where you can walk along the valley ridge. We then continue to Tazegzaoute Gorge in the so-called “enchanted valley” for a picnic or lunch with local people, before driving on to Tata for dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 3: Tata – Foum Zguid – Erg Chegaga
After breakfast, we depart early for Erg Chegaga, pausing along the way to take in the beauty of southern Morocco. Lunch is served in Foum Zguid, then we follow a track across the dry Iriqui Lake to the Erg Chegaga desert, known for its magnificent dunes and profound silence. After sunset, enjoy dinner and spend the night in nomad tents or under the stars.
Day 4: Erg Chegaga – M’hamid – Tamegroute – Draa Valley – Nkob
After sunrise and breakfast at the bivouac, we continue toward Zagora via M’hamid and Tamegroute, where we stop to visit the Quran library and the old Kasbah. The route then leads through the beautiful Draa Valley to Nkob, where dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel await.
Day 5: Nkob – Tazarine – Alnif – Merzouga Desert
We leave the hotel and travel toward the Merzouga desert through changing landscapes of rocky desert, lush greenery, and mountains. Passing through the Berber town of Tazarine, we stop in Alnif for lunch before continuing to Merzouga for dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 6: Merzouga Desert – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate
In the morning, we head toward Ouarzazate, crossing green valleys and water streams and passing the vast palm groves of Skoura. Here, we stop to visit Amridil Kasbah before continuing to Ouarzazate, a city famous for Hollywood film productions. Overnight stay.
Day 7: Ouarzazate – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
After breakfast, we drive to Marrakech and visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, Morocco’s largest kasbah and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. We then cross the impressive Tizi N’Tichka Pass at 2260 m through the High Atlas Mountains before arriving in Marrakech. Overnight at a hotel or riad.
Day 8: Full Day in Marrakech
Today offers an optional private guided tour of the Marrakech Medina with an official guide. Discover Koutoubia Mosque, the Medina and its souks, and other highlights including the Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and Majorelle Gardens. Overnight.
Day 9: Marrakech – Agadir
We return from Marrakech to Agadir, bringing your 9-day tour to a close.
