




Fresh mountain air, forest views, and energising movement come together in this revitalising wellness escape in the heart of Montenegro’s Lovćen National Park. Set among wild beech forest at 1,000 metres above sea level, the location offers pristine nature, a distinctive climate, and a deep sense of stillness.

Rough schedule
You will take part in two daily sessions with Yaz: one barre class and one pilates class.
One day will feature only one class, leaving extra time to unwind or enjoy an optional day trip to the Adriatic coast or to a nearby cultural or historic town or city.
Yaz’s classes are designed to challenge you, helping you discover muscles you may not have used before, all set to an upbeat playlist.
Each class lasts 45 minutes and offers a full-body workout. Sessions are suitable for all levels, with modifications and progressions provided throughout.
Barre: This low-impact class focuses on strengthening and toning the muscles at a slower pace, with attention to core strength and stability. It is well suited to those with long- or short-term injuries, as well as pre- and post-natal participants.
Pilates: Pilates takes a holistic approach to fitness by supporting core strength, flexibility, posture, and overall body awareness. Yaz’s pilates sessions flow continuously, keeping the body engaged from start to finish. Expect to feel both challenged and refreshed, with particular emphasis on core and balance work.
Outside of class time, and between shared breakfasts and dinners, there will be plenty of opportunity to relax, enjoy the facilities at Ashuma, or explore the local area on foot. You may choose to read in the forest lounge, rest in a hammock beneath ancient beech trees, or simply enjoy the peaceful outdoor space around your tent.
Where you will stay
Each tent has a private entrance and its own outdoor area. The tents are fully furnished with authentic teak furniture and Siberian larch flooring. Bathrooms are attached and include all necessary facilities.
What you will eat
Twice daily, you’ll enjoy delicious and nourishing vegetarian buffet meals. The kitchen uses thoughtful cooking methods such as sous-vide and raw dessert preparation to help preserve the maximum nutritional value of the ingredients. Meals are served in the cosy atmosphere of the retreat.

Yaz Mohamed has worked as a professional fitness instructor in London for four years. From dance cardio to lengthening and sculpting barre, and strength-focused fitness training, she brings experience across a range of multidisciplinary workouts. She has guided hundreds of clients in both group classes and private sessions, always with a light and upbeat teaching style.
As she shares, fitness has been part of her life from an early age, and she has always felt drawn to the empowering effect it creates.
