This therapeutic art and yoga retreat is designed for anyone longing to step away from the pressures of everyday life. Set in a peaceful, beautiful rural location, it offers space for self-care, reflection, and creative exploration through heart-opening therapeutic art activities using a wide range of media, alongside yoga and a gong bath. Join us for a restorative retreat where we reconnect with the joy of making with our hands.
Whether you are completely new to these practices or already experienced, you are warmly welcome. The approach throughout the retreat is open to all levels and all activities are designed to meet you where you are.
Life can bring stress, challenge, and emotional strain in many forms. This retreat creates a pause from that rhythm, inviting stillness, renewal, and deeper balance. Through soulful creative experiences, we aim to replenish inner wellbeing, restore harmony, and inspire joy, while also fostering meaningful connection. It is a gentle, heart-centered space to slow down and create.
The focus is not on producing a finished artwork, though that may naturally happen, but on using creativity as a way to explore your inner world and process emotions that may be held within. No previous art experience is needed. Guided by London-based Transpersonal Arts Counsellor (MCGI BACP) and Creative Arts Facilitator Helena Harper, you will be supported in a safe environment as you move through both creative and personal exploration.
With 20 years of experience supporting people from many different backgrounds, Helena brings sensitivity and skill to working with life challenges, transitions, mental health, and inner wellbeing. At the same time, the retreat can also be enjoyed simply as a chance to try different creative activities without going deeply into emotions. However you choose to engage, it offers a loving space to nourish yourself.
